1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or playing Snowbox at snowbox.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of Snowbox after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. About Snowbox

Snowbox is a browser-based multiplayer 3D ski resort builder and freestyle skiing game. Players can design custom terrain parks, hit kickers, grind rails, and ride with others in real time. The game is intended for players of all skill levels and ages who enjoy creative and sports simulation experiences.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

Snowbox is free to play. You may play as a guest without registering, but creating an account unlocks progression, cosmetics, and social features. You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Multiplayer & Online Conduct

Snowbox is a multiplayer game. When playing online, you agree to conduct yourself in a respectful and constructive manner. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Harassing, threatening, or bullying other players
• Using offensive, hateful, or discriminatory language in any form
• Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics to gain an unfair advantage
• Using cheats, bots, automation tools, or modified clients
• Attempting to disrupt game servers or other players' connections
• Impersonating other players, staff, or community figures

We reserve the right to mute, suspend, or permanently ban any account found to be in violation of these conduct standards, without prior notice or refund.

5. User Generated Content

Snowbox allows players to design and share custom terrain parks, builds, and resort layouts ("User Generated Content" or "UGC"). By creating or sharing UGC on Snowbox, you:

• Confirm that you own or have the rights to any content you submit
• Grant Snowbox a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, store, and transmit your UGC within the game and related services
• Understand that UGC is visible to other players and may be moderated or removed

You must not create or share UGC that is illegal, offensive, infringing on intellectual property rights, or otherwise in violation of these terms. We reserve the right to remove any UGC at our discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

All game assets, code, designs, logos, sound effects, music, and visual elements of Snowbox are the intellectual property of the developers unless otherwise attributed. You may not copy, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from Snowbox's assets without express written permission.

7. Virtual Items & In-Game Economy

Snowbox may offer cosmetic items, skins, and progression rewards (collectively "Virtual Items"). Virtual Items hold no real-world monetary value, are non-transferable between accounts, and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for real money. We reserve the right to modify, remove, or rebalance the in-game economy at any time.

8. Privacy

We collect only the information necessary to operate the game, including account credentials, gameplay data, and session information. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Gameplay data may be used to improve the game experience, fix bugs, and analyze usage patterns. By using Snowbox, you consent to this data collection as described.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Snowbox is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted service, or error-free operation. We do not guarantee that the game will always be available or free of technical issues.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Snowbox and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game, including but not limited to loss of data, virtual items, or access to your account.

11. Modifications to the Game & Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or aspect of Snowbox at any time, with or without notice. This includes changes to game mechanics, maps, servers, and available content. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such changes.
